Hello Bluebird Stamps - Baby Card

 

I thought I'd share this baby card with my followers which I made for personal use and was created using Hello Bluebird Stamps products.  Unfortunately this Sweet Dreams stamp set is now sold out and discontinued, only the coordinating die is available in their blowout sale.  You can find the products here.

I started with a white A2 panel of cardstock which I ink blended using Cerulean ink by The Stamp Market and I die cut using Hello Bluebird's 'Starry Sky Die' which is in stock!  I glued this panel to a sparkling white panel of cardstock and then to the card base.

I stamped the images from Sweet Dreams in black ink and coloured with the following Copic marker combinations:-

Fox - E37, E35, E33, E11, E01, C3, C1, C00

Koala - T5, T3, T1, T0

Lion - E79, E84, Y28, Y26, YR20, E000

Clouds - B91, C0, C00

Blush - R22, R21, R00

I highlighted with a white gel pen and glazed their noses in black then die cut using the companion dies.  Each animal was glued to a cloud and then backed with foam tape and applied to the background.

To complete the project, I stamped the sentiments and applied those with more foam tape and then I grabbed a frame die from my stash and die cut the simple white frame and applied with dimensional tape which nicely finished off this sweet scene.

Hello Bluebird Stamps - Sweet Dreams

Welcome to my blog where today I'm sharing a new card using products from the latest Hello Bluebird Stamps release.

This is a mini slimline card and I have used the following Hello Bluebird products:-

Sweet Dreams stamps and coordinating dies

Nesting Mini Slimline die

Starry Sky die

Grassy Knoll die

I kicked things off by creating a white glitter panel in a mini slimline size and over this I layered another panel that I had first ink blended using Distress Oxide Inks in Spun Sugar and Shaded Lilac.    I also created a cloud edge at the base of the card using the Grassy Knoll die which I ink blended to tone and applied with foam tape.

I stamped the images from Sweet Dreams and coloured them with Copic markers.

Bunny - W5, W4, W3, W2, W0, W000

Fawn - E55, E31, E41, W3, W1

Bear - T7, T6, T5, T4, T3, T1, T0, E31

Fox - E99, E15, E13, E11, T4, T2

Blushes and Ears - R21, R20, R00, R000

Clouds - BV00, BV000, B60, R000, R0000

Images were die cut using the coordinating dies and highlighted with a white gel pen and applied to the scene with dimensional foam tape.

I chose the sentiments from the set and stamped the in dark gray ink to tone with the bear, I die cut with their coordinating dies and applied again with foam tape.

A few clear jewel accents were adhered to complete the scene.

Hello Bluebird Stamps - May Release - Sweet Dreams

It's the second day of previews for the new Hello Bluebird release which you can buy tomorrow May 15th at 7pm MST.   Everything being revealed today by myself and the rest of the Design Team and guests is baby themed and so of course there are lots of heart melting images and projects to share.   My card here uses Sweet Dreams which is a gorgeous new stamp set.  I have also used the new Oh Baby Words Die, Starry Sky Die and Rainbow Square Die (minus the rainbow portion for my project).

I die cut the Rainbow Square Die three times and discarded the inner cuts that can be used as a rainbow.

I created a square panel of cardstock and ink blended it with Spun Sugar Distress Oxide Ink forming a brighter focal point in the centre.  I die cut the panel using the Starry Sky Die and adhered it to a panel of white glitter cardstock.  I adhered one frame cut directly and a second one was adhered that I backed with foam tape and adhered it to the first frame and set it to one side.

I stamped the images from the Sweet Dreams stamp set and coloured them with Copic markers:-

Moon - Y23, Y21, E51, E50, E0000, W2, W0

Bear - E42, E41, E40, E0000

Fox - E13, E34, E53, W2, W1, W0

Blushes - R21, R20, R00

Cloud - RV000, RV0000, W2, W1, W00

Images were die cut using the coordinating dies and adhered to the background.

I die cut the Oh Baby Words Die 4 times and adhered each to the next in layers for a nice chunky sentiment.  I used the W2 Copic marker to colour the top later and the two words were adhered in place.

I applied the decorative panel to a prepared card base and then created another identical frame to stick to the back of the card base so that the card stood upright and level so there actually 3 frame cuts to this card, it feels beautifully substantial and a lovely quality and I think that is important, so many people keep baby cards of course.
