Simon Says Stamp - STAMPtember 2025 Blog Party!

Hello crafty friends and thank you as always for joining me on my blog today where we're celebrating all things Simon Says Stamp and STAMPtember 2025 (which launched yesterday) by having a Blog Party today.

Perhaps you are new to STAMPtember?  You're going to love it and look forward to it each year, a month long celebration with new products released daily along with prizes and collaborations also special promotions.  It's so much fun!  For today's party, every Simon Says Stamp designer has a unique prize/promotion to share and you will find mine at the end of this post so, keep reading and scrolling.  Make sure you carve out some time today to stop off at as many participant's blogs as you can in order to source all of the prizes.  Think of this party as a scavenger hunt if you will!  THIS LINK takes you to the Simon Says Stamp blog where you'll find many more details, inspiration and a list of the Blog Party Participants.  Here's another handy link to the entire STAMPtember release https://www.simonsaysstamp.com/collections/stamptember.

For the party today I'm sharing this new card featuring 'Block Presents' a brand new die together with A2 Frames Die and the 'Tiny Words Birthday' stamp set.

I took some pink and yellow cardstock and using the A2 Frames die I die cut two panels and then used the next size die down to cut again.  The frames were  applied to a white card base and the centre panels were backed with white craft foam and then glued in place.

I grabbed the new Block Presents die and die cut white cardstock twice to form two identical die cut images.  I glued these in place on each of the coloured panels.

To complete the card I created some matching sentiment strips and stamped a little sentiment onto each and then adhered them like gift tags to each group of presents.  The final touch was the addition of a few small sparkling clear sequins.

This card was a pretty quick make in the CAS style.  The Block Presents die would make fantastic shaker cards among other uses!

I really appreciate you coming to my blog today and joining in the party.  Please note that my unique 'gift' below is that this incredible embossing folder is free with ANY purchase!!!  That's pretty awesome right?  Follow the steps in the graphic below.

Simon Says Stamp - STAMPtember Kicks Off TODAY!!!

Thanks for joining me today as the fun kicks off at Simon Says Stamp with the first day of 'STAMPtember'.  I have several cards to share with you over the coming days but here are the details for this my first one.  To create this card I have used:-

Wild Birthday (illustrated my Rachelle Anne Miller)
Boho Flowers Embossing Folder
A2 Scalloped Rectangles 8021sd

I took a panel of pretty pink cardstock, lightly spritzed it with water and then ran it through my Big Shot using the Boho Flowers Embossing Folder.  I sized the panel down a little and adhered it to my white card base.

I die cut two scalloped edges panels from heavyweight vellum and another from white cardstock using the A2 Scalloped Rectangles die.  I ink blended a purple and pink focal point and distressed it just a little and then adhered them together then to the pink embossed background panel.

I stamped the giraffe from the new 'Wild Birthday' stamp set using Memento Ink in Rich Cocoa.  Wild Birthday is a large stamp set which includes several other illustrations, so make sure you check them all out.  I coloured the image with Copic markers and added a little glitter to the party hat and ball, I backed the image with dimensional foam tape and adhered it to the ink blended area.

To complete the card I chose one of the sentiments included in the stamp set, stamped in the same Rich Cocoa ink and then applied the strip with more foam tape.

A few twinkling sentiments completed the design.

I'll be back tomorrow with something new!  Happy shopping friends.

The blog hop order can be found at the bottom of my blogpost today ⬇

To make my card today I have used the following products:-

I started by popping a panel of white cardstock in my Misti and using the Swiss Dots stamp set I did a rainbow of stamping using blue, yellow and pink inks and slightly overlapping them.  I adhered this to my card base.  I took a second white panel and used the A2 Frames Die to create the skinny frame and with the inside cut I trimmed it to create a grounding for the scene.  The frame and ground were glued in position.

Using the new Curled Fern Frond Die and some pastel cardstock I die cut the three fronds and glued them to the dotted background.

I stamped the adorable Jenoblade illustrated Birthday Dragons images that I was needing for my little scene and coloured with the following Copic marker combinations:-

Blue - BG32, BG11, BG0000
Pink - RV02, RV10, RV0000
Yellow - YR21, E50, Y00
Shading areas with - C3, C1, C00
Blush - R22, R21, R20, R00

I fussy cut the images and using either a single or double layer of foam tape so they really jump out at you (not in a bad way lol) I adhered them to the background.

To complete the card I used one of the two sentiments included in the Birthday Dragons stamp set.  I stamped with Versamark Ink and heat embossed in gold and applied the strip to the card with foam tape.

A few sparkling clear sequins and some white gel pen highlights completed the project.

Thanks so much for coming by my blog today, I hope you like my card and feel inspired. There will be a second blog hop tomorrow so do look out for that and happy shopping!

Pink & Main - Fun Froggies

Hello and thank you for joining me on my blog today to learn how I made this latest card for Pink & Main who recently released some wonderful new products.

My card today features their new stamp set Fun Froggies, I've also used the coordinating die and their new Gradients & Dots Paper Pad.

I started by preparing a panel from Gradients & Dots and glueing it to a white A2 card base.  Preparing this panel meant I had leftovers from the sheet and I used their Floral Banners Dies to die cut greenery but also some flowers using scraps of pastel cardstock in my stash.  I formed a swag at the top of the card front and glued it in place and I also prepared more individual pieces of greenery and blooms for the bottom.

I stamped the images from Fun Froggies that I was needing for the scene I imagined and I coloured with Copic markers:-

Frogs - YG17, YG13, YG61
Blush - RV04, RV02, RV10
Toadstool - RV52, RV10, RV000, E44, E43, E42, E41, E40, W1, W00
Sunflower - E44, E43, E42, Y21 and Y00
Sun - Y21, Y00
Butterfly - RV04, RV02, RV10

I used the coordinating dies to die cut the images which I backed with foam tape and applied to the background.

After the images were applied I then came in with the remaining flowers and greenery and either glued in placed or adhered with foam tape because I love dimension.

I stamped and die cut the sentiment from the stamp set and applied with foam tape and then to just break up the background a tiny bit, I came in with my white gel pen and dotted in some 'pollen'.  Let's face it, there's plenty of that around this time of year lol!

I highlighted some other points on the images and then this card was complete.  Thanks for coming by and happy crafting!

Pink & Main - March Release Birthday Card

Welcome to my blog and another birthday card created using products from Pink & Main's March release.  I have used the following products to make this card:-

I took a white panel of sturdy cardstock and I used the embossing folder to create that background design which I love!  I then came in with Cornflower Ink by The Stamp Market and with a light touch, I softly ink blended the embossed panel.  I layered a small strip of white cardstock over the bottom of the panel.  This whole panel was then adhered to a larger white panel then glued to the card base.

I stamped the images from Icing On The Cake with black ink and coloured the images using the following Copic marker combinations:-

Bunny - E44, E43, E42, E41, E40
Mouse - N4, N3, N1, N0, C00
Bear - E37, E35, E55, E31, E41, E40
Pink - V01, RV52, RV10
Blue - B12, B41
Yellow - Y21, Y00, Y0000

I highlighted with a white gel pen and also added polka dots to the bunting, then all elements were applied with dimensional foam tape.

To complete the card, I stamped the sentiment on the lower right hand corner and adhered a few sparkling clear sequins.

Thanks for stopping by!

Pink & Main March Release - Icing On The Cake

Hello and welcome to a second card that I've made as I guest design for Pink & Main's March release which is available for purchase now.

For my card today I have used the new Icing On The Cake stamps and the coordinating dies.  The card was started with a sheet of patterned paper from the It's Your Birthday Patterned Paper pack.  I cut this to A2 and glued it to a card base.  I then created a smaller white panel and I masked off the edges and using a very light touch, I softly ink blended with a little Peacock Feathers Distress Oxide Ink.  I then removed the mask and glued the panel to the patterned base.

I stamped the images from Icing On The Cake with black ink an coloured the images using the following Copic colours:-

Bunny - E44, E43, E42, E41, E40
Mouse - N4, N3, N1, N0, C00
Bear - E37, E35, E55, E31, E41, E40
Pink - V01, RV52, RV10
Blue - B12, B41
Yellow - Y21, Y00, Y0000

I die cut using the coordinating dies and applied to the background using either a single or double layer of dimensional foam tape.

I stamped the sentiment on a sentiment strip and applied with foam tape and for the finishing touches, I adhered a few sparkling clear sequins and then I used some white stars from the new 'Stars & Sprinkles Confetti' to decorate the cake and gift.

I adore these sweet little critters and hope you enjoyed my card today.

Pink & Main March Release

Hello and thank you for visiting my blog today for the details on this birthday card I created as a guest designer for Pink & Main's brand new release which is now available for purchase.  To create this card I have worked with Party Penguins stamps and the coordinating die set.

I simply took an A2 panel of white cardstock and ink blended a focal point using Party Pink ink by The Stamp Market.  I then loosened a little white acrylic paint with a drop or two of water and using a paint brush I splattered the background with the paint and set it to one side to dry.

I stamped the Party Penguins characters using black ink and coloured with the following Copic markers:-

Penguins - T6, T4, T3, C3, C1, C0, C00, R0000
Blush - R22, R21, R20, R00, R0000
Yellow - Y19, Y15
Blue - B12, B41
Pink - RV06, RV04, RV00

I die cut using the coordinating die set and applied the elements to the background ink blend.

To finish the card I stamped the sentiment (from the stamp set) and highlighted areas with a white gel pen and I finished with a scattering of sparkling clear sequins and adhered the decorative panel to my card base.

Purple Onion Designs - Flowers From Tofu

I'm back with a new card for Purple Onion Designs today that features their Flowers From Tofu stamp illustrated by Chilliezgraphy by Pei.  Here's a list of links to the products used:-

I took a panel of white cardstock measuring 4 x 5 1/4 inches.   I used the Vintage Postcard Stamps to stamp all the fun little features to build a postcard and I found some Purple Onion sentiments from my stash to type the Hello and Happy Birthday words.

I then used Spun Sugar and Cracked Pistachio Distress Oxide Inks to softly ink blend the panel and dotted in some interest.

I stamped the main image using Memento Ink in Tuxedo Black and coloured with the following Copic marker combinations:-

Overalls - B34, B32, B91
Tofu - C3, C1, C0, C00
Boots - RV34, RV11, R81, W3, W1
Flowers Y19, RV34, RV11, R81, YG06, YG13, E41, E40
Blush - R22, R21, R20, R00

Points were highlighted with a white gel pen and then I fussy cut the image, backed it with foam tape and applied it to the background.

For the finishing touches I added some tufts of grass and flowers to the the grass and added some shadow beneath Tofu and then I added some clouds with foam tape.  These clouds are from Hello Bluebird's 'Beach Umbrella Die' and I added some subtle colour to each to emphasise them and to pick up on the blue from Tofu's overalls.

The panel was then glued to an A2 white card base and then it was done!  Thanks for reading my blog today!

It is indeed a 'Hog Happy Day because I'm happy to announce that I have joined the Alex Syberia Designs Design Team starting today!  I look forward to all that there is to come and inspiring you in different ways with your ASD purchases.

GIVEAWAY ....... Be sure to visit my Instagram Profile today and go to the post for this card.  Leave a comment to be in the running to win 1 of TWO $10 gift certificates that ASD is giving away.

This announcement card uses the following Alex Syberia products:-

Hog Happy Day

Hog Happy Day Die

Signature Tags Die Set

Good Day Quilted Rectangles Die Set

Festive Fun Stencil

I took an A2 panel of white cardstock and I used Blush and Fresh Mint inks by The Stamp Market to stencil the design and to ink blend the bottom of the panel which I then die cut using the Good Day Quilted Rectangles Die Set.  I die cut the smaller tag from Signature Tags and ink blended using the same inks but no stencilling on it, instead I spattered it with white acrylic paint loosened with a drop or two of water.

I stamped the images from Hog Happy Day and coloured them with the following Copic marker combinations:-

Pigs - R22, R21, R20, R00, R000, W3, W1, Wo
Fairy Wings - BG32, BG11
White - C3, C1, C0
Yellow - Y21, Y00

The images were die cut using the coordinating dies and applied to the background panel with foam tape.  I did minimal highlighting with a white gel pen and grounded the lower images in the scene with some sprigs of grass and shadows.

I stamped and die cut the sentiments and used the coordinating dies to die cut them and then used the dies 3 more times to die cut white cardstock which I glued in stacks with the sentiment on top and then to the card and tag.

To complete the card and tag I adhered 3 different sizes of sparkling clear sequins then backed the feature panel with white craft foam and adhered it to a panel of Blush cardstock by The Stamp Market that was slightly larger and then adhered this to a white A6 card base which is slightly bigger again.

I found some mint ribbon in my stash and threaded that through the opening on the tag and with that this card and gift tag duo was complete.

Thanks for stopping by today, I'll be back before you know it with something new.

Waffle Flower - Postage Collage Card

Hello!  Weather-wise it has been a pretty grim day here in Upstate New York and I found myself with some spare time and I decided to create using some recent purchases and just for the love of the craft.  I'm sure most of you are familiar with Waffle Flower's Postage Collage collection of dies and stencils and my card today uses the Postage Collage Die (the essential place to start) and I used the Postage Collage Coloring Stencil too.

I selected some sturdy white cardstock and die cut the Postage Collage.  I overlaid the first of two stencils from the same set.  The first one will just allow you to ink blend a background colour.  Once ink blended I put the second stencil in place and ink blended the shapes and patterns.  Here are the ink combinations used, all are by The Stamp Market:-

Pinks - Cotton Candy & Bubblegum
Purples - Wisteria & Orchid
Blues - Powder Blue & Cornflower

The next step was to use the Waffle Flower Postage Collage stamp set and I stamped in all the little details like 50 cents etc using Memento Ink in Tuxedo Black.  I backed this panel with dimensional foam tape and applied it to an A2 white panel of cardstock and then glued this to my card base.

For the bold sentiment I used the Essential Happy Birthday Die-namics by My Favorite Things.  This is a two part die and I cut the background portion from black cardstock and the happy birthday words from white.  I adhered the pieces together, backed the sentiment with more dimensional foam tape and applied it to the decorative background.

A few white Nuvo drops finished the card nicely!

Well, it's still raining and so there's nothing else for it but to make another card!  I'll be back tomorrow with something new!

My Favorite Things - July Release Countdown Day 3

Hello everyone!  I'm sure you've all been impatiently waiting for MFT's next big release, well, here it is as we kick off the countdown to release day which is July 30th at 10am Eastern.  My first of five cards for this release features a brand new Stacey Yacula illustrated stamp set.  Here's what I've used:-

I took an A2 panel of white cardstock and I did a delicate ink blend of Saltwater Taffy and Mowed Lawn Distress Oxide Inks.  I stamped the sentiment and then backed this panel with white craft foam and adhered it to a slightly larger white card base.

I stamped all of the images from Pick of the Patch using MFT's Eiffel Tower Ink.  I then set about colouring the images and here are the Copic colours that I used:-

Strawberries - R39, R37, R05, R21, G20, G14, YG03, Y15
Bunnies - E44, E31, E41
Mice - W4, W3, W1
Blushes - R22, R21, R20, R00
Terracotta Pot - E35, E33, E11
Bucket - C3, C1, C0
Ladder - E43
Ladybugs - E37

I then die cut these pretty images using the coordinating die-namics and arranged then as I had had them in my mind before I started.  Once I was happy with the layout I took a photograph of my phone so that I wouldn't forget, then I started to add dimensional foam tape to the back of each element and build the scene again from the back and working forwards.

Last but not least, I grabbed my white gel pen and began highlighting certain points which makes the whole thing pop!

My Favorite Things - New Greetings Collection Sentiment Stamp Set Release

Hello!  I'm back with my second card for the latest release from MFT Stamps.  This is their new Greetings Collection which is a series of very useful and fun sentiment stamp sets.   Here's what I've used to make this birthday card:-

I started with a white panel of cardstock which was die cut with the Pinking Edge Rectangle Stax.  I masked the edges along the dotted line and then used MFT's inks and the Stencil to ink blend the party balloons for a colourful background.

I backed this panel with a kraft panel and attached the focus panel with a white layer of craft foam behind it and then attached the kraft panel to an A2 white panel then to the card base.  I set this to one side.

I stamped the monkeys with Memento Ink in Rich Cocoa and coloured with the following Copic markers:-

Monkeys - E77, E44, E43, E71, E70, R000
Blushes - R22, R21, R20, R00
Banana - Y19, Y15, Y06, Y02, E71, E70

I highlighted some points with a white gel pen then blackened their eyes with a black glaze pen and highlighted the eyes once dry.  I die cut using the coordinating die-namics, backed them with dimensional foam tape and applied to the balloon background.

I stamped the new and fun sentiment on a sentiment strip and applied it with more foam tape under the monkeys and I stamped HAPPY BIRTHDAY from the same stamp set inside the card.

I finished by adding some white Nuvo Drops throughout the background and around the monkeys.
