Thank you for visiting my blog to learn how I made this card for Pink & Main who have a brand new release TODAY! Definitely check that out because there are a lot of adorable stamp sets among other things, not least this Silly Goose stamp set which of course has a coordinating die.
I took an A2 panel of white cardstock and ink blended grass and sky using Rustic Wilderness, Mowed Lawn and Saltwater Taffy Distress Oxide Inks. I splashed it with water and blotted it dry then backed it with white craft foam and glued it to a larger white panel which in turn was glued to the prepared card base.
I stamped all of the silly geese plus I chose one flower image and stamped that several times over. I then coloured with the following Copic markers:-
Silly Geese - Y11, Y000, Y0000, R000, YR07, YR04, YR21, C3, C1, C0
Pink - R21, R00 (plus fine tipped pen for detail)
Green - YG67, YG45, G40, YG11
I highlighted with a white gel pen then die cut the images. I played around with an arrangement of the geese (determined to get them all on the card) and applied either with glue or foam tape.
To finish, I stamped the sentiments and applied them with foam tape at playful angles and then I came in with yellow and pink gel pens and dotted little flowers into the grass to finish the card.
There's an Instagram hop today (Friday 22nd May) with the Design Team and guests sharing their first projects of the release so please join me there, find my post with this card and start hopping along and enter the giveaway.
