I lined the back of the frame with acetate and applied dimensional foam tape around the border, filled it generously with a a fun mix from my collection of glitters and sequins. I then applied another layer of acetate to seal it all in and adjoined this to the card base.
On smooth watercolour cardstock I lightly stamped the images using distress inks. I masked off areas of the stamp and stamped in green then cleaned, re-masked then stamped in pink so that my outline colours were what I wanted. Next I watercolour painted the flower images applying a little more colour for depth here and there. When I was happy I die cut the flowers and applied them to the acetate shaker window using dimensional foam tape.
I decided the card simply didn't need a sentiment on the outside, although one could easily have been added and the stamp set does include some pretty ones. The finishing touch was some subtle glimmer that I applied with a gel pen which only shows when the card is handled and moved.
The shaker window was sufficiently filled so that the contents didn't just sit at the bottom, but also leaving just enough room to give a satisfying shuffling sound when shaken.
Thank you so much for taking a moment to read about this card. I'll see you next time!
