My Favorite Things - Plaid Builder Stencil with Hunny Bunny

 

Welcome to my blog and this new card for MFT Stamps.   Here are the MFT products used in my project:-

Plaid Builder Stencil

A2 Double Stitched Rectangles Die-namics

I created the pastel plaid background using the Plaid Builder Stencil and MFT Inks,  I then die cut the panel using the second to largest die from the Double Stitched Rectangles Die-namics.   I stamped the sentiment from Hunny Bunny then backed the panel with white craft foam and mounted it on a panel of Sno-Cone cardstock that I'd die cut one size larger from the same die set.  This in turn was glued to a white A2 panel and to my card base.

I stamped the large image from Hunny Bunny and coloured it with the following Copic markers:-

Bunny - E43, E42, E41, RV00, RV000, Y06, Y02, T3, T2, T1, T0

Balloon - RV52, RV10, RV00, RV000, T3, T2, T1, T0, C00

I highlighted with a white gel pen and die cut and applied to the background with dimensional foam tape.

To finish up the card, I die cut (without stamping) the mini clouds also from Hunny Bunny and applied with more foam tape and finished with a sweet glitter 'bobble' under each cloud.

I'm delighted to be sharing the latest Sketch Challenge WSC632 from MFT Stamps.  Above you'll see the sketch you're working with this week and of course my inspiration card for which I will now share the details.  Here's what I used:-

Mini Cloud Edges Stencil

I created the background panel with the background stamp and and then die cut with the Stax die-namics.  I took another panel and stencil ink blended the clouds and then trimmed that to size per the sketch, backing the pieces with craft foam and applying.  This whole panel was then backed with more craft foam and applied to an A2 panel of Ripe Raspberry cardstock and set to one side.

I stamped and coloured the images I was needing from Hunny Bunny - such an ADORABLE stamp set for occasions year round.  I coloured the images using the following colour palette of Copic markers:-

Bunnies - E41, E50, W3, W2, W1

Deep Pink - V05, RV63, RV52, V01

Medium Pink - RV63, RV52, 

Light Pink - RV52, RV000

I shaded the hearts and clothing using the W greys for depth and definition.

I highlighted with a white gel pen and then die cut and applied with dimensional foam tape.

Finally, I stamped the sentiment in Ripe Raspberry Ink and applied the strip to finish the project.

My Favorite Things - January Release Countdown Day 3

 

Well I hope you're ready for some serious cuteness on this Countdown Day 3 to the January 17th new release by MFT Stamps.  This is the latest stamp set illustrated by Yuzu aka Yan Au from the Design Team.

Here's what I've used to make this card:-

A2 Stitched Rectangles Stax Die-namics Set 1

I first took a kraft panel (A2) and used white pigment ink and the cloud stencil to create the background.   I then stamped the sentiment at the bottom and die cut the panel using the Stax Die-namics.  I backed the panel with white craft foam and applied it to a white A2 panel and set it to one side for the time being.

I stamped  the images I was going to be using from the stamp set and coloured them with the following Copic marker combinations:-

Red - R39, RV29, RV09, RV06, T6, T4

Pink - RV09, RV06

Blue - B04, B12, B41

Bunnies - E44, E43, E42, E41, E40, W3

Blushes - R21, R20, R00

I highlighted with a white gel pen, die cut the images using the coordinating die-namics and applied everything to the background using dimensional foam tape.

A few sparkling clear sequins scattered around were a simple finishing touch.
