Thinking of entering the latest Color Challenge from MFT Stamps?   Well, here are the colours to inspire your latest challenge entry.  The products used in the making of my project include:-

Eat Lots of Cake Stamps

Eat Lots of Cake Die-namics

Blueprints 27

Skinny Strips Die-namics

I masked and ink blended a background section using Tropical Teal and Sour Apple inks by MFT.  I splashed the area with water and blotted it up in order to slightly distress the background.  I removed the mask carefully then die cut the panel using Blueprints 27 then backing the panel with white craft foam and mounting it on an A2 panel of Lemon Drop cardstock.

Using Memento Ink in Rich Cocoa I stamped the images from Eat Lots of Cake and coloured them with the following Copic marker combinations:-

Elephant - T3, T2, T1, T0, C00

Ducklings - Y15, Y06, Y02, T2, T0, YR07, Y38

Blushes - R21, R20, R00

Points were highlighted with a white gel pen then I die cut the images and applied them with foam tape.  To complete this CAS card I stamped the sentiments on sentiment strips then trimmed them to size, backed with foam tape and applied.  Finally a few white Nuvo drops were added.

Well hello there, welcome to my blog where I've got a new card for MFT Stamps for their next Color Challenge.    Are you up for the challenge?   This is CC195.

A2 Stitched Rectangles Stax (Set 1) Die-namics

Inside and Out Stitched Circle Stax Die-namics

I started by ink blending my background panel using Worn Lipstick and Twist Citron Distress Oxide Inks.  I liberally splashed the blended area to soften the look of it.

Over this I layered another white panel where I had used the circle die-namics to create an opening.   I stamped the sentiment beneath the circle and then backed it with foam tape and applied to the background.

I stamped and coloured the images from Eat Lots of Cake.   My Copic colours are:-

Green Combo - YG25, YG03, YG01

Pink Combo - R22, R20, R00

White Combo - C3, C1, C00

Elephant - T6, T5, T4, T2, T1, T0

Duck - C3, C1, C00, R22, R20

Blushes - R21, R20, R00, R000

A white gel pen highlighted a few points before I die cut using the coordinating die-namics and then applied to the scene using dimensional foam tape.

To finish, I added some little flat 4 point stars embellishments into the pink sky area for some birthday sparkle.

My Favorite Things - July Countdown Day 5 - Eat Lots of Cake

Here we goooooo!   We're kicking off with Countdown Day 5 to the MFT Stamps new release on July 12th at 10am EST and this mini slimline card features the adorable new YUZU illustrated stamp set called Eat Lots Of Cake.

I started by preparing a mini slimline panel measuring 3 1/2 inches x 6 inches and I ink blended to a fade using Squeezed Lemonade and Scattered Straw Distress Oxide Inks.

I stamped the images from Eat Lots of Cake and coloured them with the following Copic markers:-

Elephant - W4, W3, W2, W1, W0

Ducklings - E01, Y23, Y21, E50, E0000, W1, W0

Bunny - E55, E31, E41

Bear - E44, E43, E42, E41

Reds - R05, R22, R20

Pinks - R22, R21, R20, R0000

Blushes - R22, R21, R00

The images were die cut and applied to the background using dimensional foam tape.

I popped the panel in my Misti and stamped the sentiment and used Nuvo drops for the confetti and added a few sparkling clear sequins to finish the scene.
