Well friends, I'm back with a second day of Spotlighting the September release by MFT Stamps and the cuteness continues today with this new Yuzu illustrated stamp set. Read on for the details:-
I made an A2 panel of Sno-Cone cardstock and glued it to my card base. I used the A2 Stax Die-namics to create a white panel and glued that to the blue panel. I die cut a frame and then masked off an area on the white panel that was a little smaller than the inside measurements of the frame and I used cloud and grass stencils by MFT to create a soft backdrop for the main images. I removed the mask and applied the frame with foam tape and set it to one side.
I stamped the images with Memento Ink in Rich Cocoa and coloured with the following Copic markers:-
Tree Branch - W5, W4, W3, W1
Leaves - Y28, Y26, Y21
Hive - Y28, Y26, Y21, W4, W2
Bears - E77, E44, E43, E42, R21, R20
Honeypot - C5, C3, C1, C0, E21, E11, E00
Points were highlighted with a white gel pen and then the images were die cut and applied with foam tape to the framed out background.
To finish this birthday card I just had to stamp the chosen sentiment which I'd allowed space for when adhering the images and then it was complete!
