Hello Bluebird Stamps - May Release Day - Big Hugs Woodland

It is release day at Hello Bluebird Stamps.   Set all the alarms in your house for 7pm MST tonight which is when the release goes live.   Don't procrastinate .... sometimes popular items can sell out within 24 hours!  My card today features the adorable new Big Hugs Woodland stamp set.

My card is a mini slim and I used the Nesting Mini Slimline Die from a previous release to create first a mint green base panel and then I used the next size down to create a panel of white cardstock.   I ink blended the white panel to create a focal point using Dried Marigold Distress Oxide Ink.  I backed the panel with white craft foam and applied it to the mint panel which was attached to a card base.

I stamped the images I'd be using from Big Hugs Woodland and coloured them with Copic markers in a fairly close family of colours:-

Fox - E13, E11, E21, W3, W1

Bunnies - E41, E40, E0000, W2, W0

Bear - E44, E43, E42, E41, E0000, W2, W0

Bird - BG49, BG34, G00, G0000, R00

Squirrel - T3, T2, T1, T0

Deer - E55, E31, E41, E0000, W2, W1, W0

Blushes - R21, R20, R00

I used a white gel pen to highlight points.

Images were die cut and applied with foam tape to build dimension.

Sentiments are from Big Hugs Woodland as well, I stamped and die cut the word Hugs and then die cut white cardstock using the same die several times to create a few which I adhered in a stack and applied to the background.  The smaller sentiments were stamped on strips of cardstock and adhered with foam tape.

A few sparkling clear sequins finished the scene.
