Hello! I have a CAS card for you today for the Wednesday Sketch Challenge at MFT Stamps. My card uses the Piece Of My Heart Die-namics.
A beautifully simple sketch to work from and I hope you participate for a chance to win a gift voucher!!
MFT has the most gorgeous cardstock, it is really substantial and you'll love working with it. I selected four colours from the range for my heart which I applied to a panel with dimensional foam tape.
For the sentiment I chose one from Essential Sentiments, stamping then heat embossing in gold on a strip created using Skinny Strips Die-namics. This strip was floated across the heart with a double layer at each end of foam tape and a single layer in the centre since the heart was already raised on one layer.
I trimmed up a couple more square panels for layering and glued these down with a layer of white craft foam behind the last panel. This may be a simple card but it feels very substantial when handled. All of this was adhered to a 5 1/4 inch square card base.
The card needed minimal embellishment and so I just used 4 gold sequins for accents and then it was complete.
