Well hello there and welcome to a new Wednesday Sketch Challenge at MFT Stamps. This is WSC582 and here is my inspiration card. Read on for more details.
Above you'll see the sketch and I think you'll agree with me that the possibilities are endless with this one. This is such a useful sketch that could form the basis of a great many cards.
To create this one I first prepped an A2 panel from the Petite Gingham 6 x 6 Paper Pad and then using the A2 Stitched Rectangles STAX Die-namics I prepared a slightly smaller white panel which I stuck to the gingham one. I then used Essential Stitched Sentiment Die-namics to create the larger sentiment strip that is purely decorative behind the focal point panel. This was adhered with foam tape as I start to build some depth. Using a smaller size from the STAX set I prepared another white panel. I ink blended this panel and splashed it with water which I blotted up. This panel was applied with foam tape.
I reached for the Birdie Brown illustrated stamp set called Birthday Buds and stamped the images I would be using and coloured them with Copic markers. Here are my colours used:-
Piglet - R20, R00, R000, R0000
Mouse - W2, W1, W0, W00
Bunny - E43, E42, E41
Teals - BG57, G00
Reds - R24, R22, R21
Yellows - Y21, Y13, Y06
Points were highlighted with a white gel pen and then die cut using the coordinating die-namics and applied with foam tape.
Last but not least I stamped the sentiment to a strip made using Skinny Strips Die-namics - this too was added with foam tape and the card was complete with the addition of 3 sparkling clear sequins.
Well, I hope I have left you inspired to join in with the challenge, good luck with your entry. Should you need more inspiration I recommend you subscribe to the MFT Stamps You Tube Channel.
