My Favorite Things - September Release - Countdown Day 3

I'm back with a new card for Countdown Day 3 for the My Favorite Things September 7th release.  This card features the new Gnome For The Holidays stamp set.

I created a slightly smaller than A2 panel of patterned cardstock from the brand new Cheerful Plaid Patterned Paper Pad which I think is an absolute essential for the season.  I used the A2 Stitched Rectangles STAX Die-namics for this and used the same size die from the set to create a white panel which I then divided with the Stitched Snow Drifts Die-namics.  

I stamped the sentiment to the 'snowy' portion, backed it with foam tape and applied it to the patterned panel with foam tape to lift it up.   This was then all attached to an A2 panel of Amarena Cherry Prestige Cardstock which I glued to my card base.

I stamped the gnomes from Gnome For The Holidays and coloured them with Copic markers in hues to work with the patterned paper.  Here's my colour palette:-

Greens - G09, G19, G02

Reds - R59, R39, R29

Browns - E43, E42

Grey Shading - C5, C3, C1

Noses - E04, E11, E21

I used the coordinating die-namics to die cut the images which I backed with foam tape and applied to the scene.

For the finishing touches I took my white gel pen to the images and highlighted them and then I used the Sweet Snowflakes Die-namics selecting the smallest die from the set and created 3 snowflakes which were glued in place.
