It's Countdown Day 4 as we count down the days to the September 7th release by My Favorite Things of some very festive stamps and dies that you are going to LOVE!
My CAS card today features the brand new and really very adorable Paw La La La La stamp set.
I simply stamped the image and set about colouring it in a somewhat limited colour palette. Here are my colours:-
Pinks - RV02, RV10, RV00
Yellows - Y23, Y21, YR30
Brown Doggies - E43, E42, E40
Scottie Dog and Angel Kitten - T4, T2, T0, CO, C00 and a touch of BG0000
Blue Kitty & Birds - BG70, BG0000, BG000
Cheeks. - R00, R20, R21
I used the coordinating die-namics to die cut the image.
I prepped a panel using the A2 Stitched Rectangles STAX Die-namics and I softly ink blended with Squeezed Lemonade and Spun Sugar Distress Oxide Inks. I stamped the sentiment from Paw La La La La and then backed the die cut main image with foam tape and applied it.
This panel was backed with white craft foam and adhered to a full size A2 panel cut from patterned paper from the new Keep Me In Stitches Patterned Paper Pad. I then applied it all to my prepared white card base.
I was enjoying the simplicity of the design and so I decided no further embellishment was required and I merely took my trusty white gel pen to the critters and highlighted a few key points.
