To create my card I used the circles as a guide for placement and converted to an A2 card form, after all, these sketches are meant to inspire a design and not for super strict adherence.
I used the A2 Stitched Rectangles STAX Die-namics to die cut a slightly smaller than A2 panel which I ink blended with Twisted Citron Distress Oxide Ink and Poppin' Pink Premium Dye Ink and then came in around those bright colours with Blueprint Sketch and Chipped Sapphire Distress Oxides and then with Black Soot around the edges to create a subtle focal point.
I spattered water on to the card panel and blotted it up and then spattered. on some white acrylic paint. I backed this panel with craft foam and adhered it to a white A2 card base.
On Copic friendly cardstock I stamped the images from Sky-High Friends and used Copic markers to colour the images to fit with the background. Points were highlighted with a white gel pen and then I used the coordinating die-namics to die cut each image which I backed with foam tape, arranged to fit the sketch and applied.
Just a few finishing touches to go! First of all I applied some silvery 4 point star embellishments for some subtle twinkle when the card is handled and I used Stickles glitter to glitter up the hanging star.
Finally I stamped the sentiment using Versamark Ink and heat embossed in silver onto a strip of black cardstock. I applied this with more foam tape.
Card complete! Best of luck with your own sketch entry, I love to see what you all create!
