Hello! I'm sharing a card made with the new stamp set Picked For You from the brand new release. The release sold out super fast but don't worry you can pre-order for when the shop is re-stocked hopefully near the end of April. Coordinating dies will also be available at that time.
To create this card I took an A2 panel of Copic friendly cardstock. I stamped the tree image 2 and a bit times across the top and then used smaller tuft of grass or floral images to build up a meadow scene with some nice texture and colour. These are clear stamps, it is easy to see where you are adding the image and this is a rather fun process. I used Copic markers to colour the scene then applied this to a 110lb cover white cardstock card base.
I used the Gallery Frame #3 die to frame out my future scene, backing it with foam tape to adhere it. On more Copic friendly cardstock I stamped out my images with Memento Ink in Rich Cocoa. I coloured my images with Copic markers and then fussy cut the images, backed them with more dimensional foam tape and applied them.
Points were highlighted with a white gel pen including dotting in spots around the background which softens it off. Finally, the sentiment was stamped to a strip of cardstock and again mounted with foam tape.
Thank you for stopping by the blog today, get those pre-orders in if you didn't already manage to place an order. Happy shopping and crafting!
Nicky x
