My Favorite Things - Spring Gnomes

Hello friends!   I have a new card for MFT Stamps today because I needed to create a super cute Easter card for personal use and so I reached for the Birdie Brown illustrated stamp set called Spring Gnomes.

I cut some Princess Pink card stock into a square panel just a little under 5 1/4" square and adhered to a 5 1/4" white card base.

I grabbed MFT's Essential Alphabet Die-namics and die cut the letters needed to spell out HOPPY EASTER.   I used heavy cardstock for this and cut each of the letters twice so that I could adhere them in stacks of two.   I adhered the words to the pink panel.

I stamped the adorable Spring Gnomes images and coloured them with the following Copic markers:-

Greens - G00, G000, G0000
Mauves - V22, BV00, BV0000
Yellows - Y23, E51, YR30
Oranges - YR09, YR07, YR14, Y38, YR31
Beards - W4, W3, W2, W0
Noses - E04, E11, E21, E0000

Images were die-cut using the coordinating die-namics and then arrange and applied to the scene with foam tape.   Just a few sparkling clear sequins were tucked here and there for a final touch.

My Favorite Things - March Release Countdown - 5 Days To Go!

Hello!  So excited to be part of the My Favorite Things Countdown to their March release (March 16th).  My card today features the new Birdie Brown stamp set called Spring Gnomes.

To create this card I first used the Rolling Clouds Stencil and Grassy Edges Stencil to create a background panel.  I blended Distress Oxides for this background.

I then used the brand new Garden Gate Die-namics to die cut the white picket fence and pretty gate.  I backed this with foam tape and applied it to the scene and I like how you can see the long grass through the fence openings as you peer in at angles.

On Copic friendly cardstock I stamped my Spring Gnomes images and coloured them using the following Copic colours:-

BG 70, BG000, BG11, G00 and BG32.
RV10, RV63 and RV02
YR21, YR20, Y21, YR31, Y19 and Y38

I die-cut the Spring Gnomes using the coordinating Die-namics and either glued directly or added 1 or 2 layers of foam tape for some super dimension!!  Points were highlighted with a white gel pen.

To finish up the card I used gel pens to dot in some grass and texture around the cute gnomes to ground them a little.

I stamped the sentiment using Versamark Ink and heat embossed in silver to a tag from Mini Mail Die-namics.  This was applied with foam tape and a finally a few pearly white sequins were added as finishing accents.
