My Favorite Things - April Release Countdown Day 2

 

It's Countdown Day 2 to the April 11th new release from MFT Stamps.  For my new card today I have used the following products:-

Potted Pets Die-namics

Artistic Prints

Grow Together

Blueprints 27

A2 Rectangle Frames Die-namics

Skinny Strips Die-namics

To kick things off I created my own patterned background panel using the Artistic Prints stamp set.  I then used Blueprints 27 to die cut the panel which I backed with white craft foam and and glued to an A2 white panel.  Next I die cut using the A2 Rectangles and backed the white frame with dimensional foam tape and adhered to the  patterned panel.  I used a smaller frame from the same die set to create a vellum panel for the centre, I discarded the frame but kept and used the negative cut.

Using the Potted Pets die-namics I selected the bunny image and some greenery and used cardstock in my chosen colours to suit the background.  Once all the pieces were die cut I glued everything in place and then backed it with foam tape and attached it to the vellum panel which in turn I glued to the background.

Last but not least I chose part of one of the sentiments in the Grow Together sentiment stamp set and stamped it on a Skinny Strip and also applied with foam tape.

To finish I simply highlighted a few points with a white gel pen and felt nothing else was needed for this project!

Release Day at My Favorite Things - MFT and Friends

Hello Friends, the My Favorite Things release is now available to buy and today I'm sharing a card using Grow Together illustrated by Pure Innocence which is one of the many beautiful new stamp sets.

To create this cheerful and summery card I first created an A2 panel using patterned paper from the Fun In The Sun 6 x 6 Paper Pad.  I also die cut the second largest frame from the A2 Rectangle Frames Die-namics using the new Poppin' Pink Prestige Cardstock.  I also used the Grassy Hills Die-namics to cut a little bit of turf using Prickly Pear Prestige Cardstock.

I adhered the grass piece to the reverse of the frame which I then backed with dimensional foam tape and centred on my background panel.

I stamped the images from Grow Together on Copic friendly cardstock and coloured with Copic markers.  I used the coordinating Die-namics to die cut the images which I backed with foam tape and applied to the scene.

The sentiment was stamped on to a Skinny Strips Die-namics sentiment strip that I also die cut from the Prickly Pear cardstock.  I used Versamark Ink and then heat embossed in white.  This was applied to the scene.

To embellish and finish the card 3 little Petite Clouds Die-namics clouds were added under the sentiment a a few sparkling clear sequins added the necessary twinkle.
