Hi! I'm happy you've joined me on my blog today to learn how I made this card for Pink & Main and their latest new release. My card uses their brand new Critters with Flowers stamp set which of course has a coordinating die and in the background there I have used their lovely new Pocket Full Of Posies Embossing Folder.
I started by embossing pink cardstock with the new embossing folder and I applied the panel to an A2 white card base.
I then cut a mint green panel and a slightly smaller white panel. I ink blended the white one with Cracked Pistachio and Speckled Egg Distress Oxide Inks, then glued the panels together and then to the embossed panel.
I stamped the fox and other images from Critters with Flowers using Eiffel Tower Ink by MFT. I coloured with the following Copic markers:-
Fox - E99, E35, E34, E11, C3, C1, C0, C00
Blush - R22, R21, R00
Banner - R00, R000, R22
Leaves - YG17, YG07
Flowers - R22, R20, Y21
Bees - N4, Y21, Y00, E11, E00
I die cut the images using the coordinating dies and backed them with foam tape and applied.
For the finishing touches, I used Copic markers to add interest to the grass and I used a white gel pen to dot in some daisies and highlights other points in the scene. Lastly, I glued a few sparkling clear sequins for accents because I can rarely resist a little twinkle.
Thanks for stopping by!
