I am excited to bring you my second card for MFT's Breast Cancer Awareness Card Kit. If you missed yesterday's please keep scrolling after this blogpost and you'll come straight to it! Here is what I've used to make today's card:-
A2 Stitched Rectangles Stax Set 2 Die-namics
To kick things off I created an A2 white panel of cardstock, then a slightly smaller panel of Butterscotch cardstock by MFT and then using the stax die-namics I created the main white panel.
I layered over the Sun Rays Stencil and used Spun Sugar Distress Oxide ink to blend the design then adhered all the panels in a stack and to the card base.
I stamped the the bees from Bee Strong by illustrator Jenoblade using black Memento Ink. I coloured with the following Copic marker combinations:-
Bee Faces - E11, E21, E00, R22, R21, R00
Bee Bodies - W5, W4, W2, Y19, Y17, Y15
Leaves - Y06, YG45, YG67
Blooms - Y38, Y19, Y17, Y000, W2
Ribbons - RV55, RV63, W4, W3, W2
Antennae - R24
I highlighted with a white gel pen then die cut using the coordinating die-namics and applied them to the background with foam tape.
To finish up the card, I stamped a sentiment from the stamp set on a sentiment strip, trimmed up the strip and used the other end of it to layer underneath. I adhered together then used foam tape to apply to the side edge of the card.
A few playful sequins completed the card.
