Welcome to my blog and Countdown Day 5 to the May 9th release from MFT Stamps. Let's get straight down to business here with a list of the items that I've used in this project:-
English Brick Wall Stencil
Blueprints 25 Die-namics
Skinny Strips Die-namics
Inspired by a villa we rented in Cyprus many moons ago, I first created an A2 panel using Blueprints 25 and then used the stencil to softly create an aging brick wall.
Using MFT's prestige cardstock I set about die cutting all of the different components in different colours from the array of different die-namics listed above which all work in conjunction with one another. In some cases, like with the greenery, I used Copic markers to shade a little bit and add interest.
All components were glued together as necessary and then I began to build the scene. I started with the window and then layered over that with a window box stuffed with flowering plants and then I added trees leaning from each side adding to the lush feel.
Lastly I formed the chaise scene at the bottom complete with a coffee pot and mug and another potted plant.
I used a white gel pen to highlight one or two points and then glued the decorative panel to my card base and stamped and applied the sentiment with foam tape so that it floated above everything.
