Hi! Very excited today because Hello Bluebird Stamps are going to be offering monthly design challenges on Instagram going forwards and the first one drops today! This challenge is a Color Challenge and you'll see the graphic and my inspiration card below with a brief write up on how it was made.
This challenge closes on April 17th and the random winner will be announced on Instagram on April 18th. The winner will receive a $50 gift certificate to the Hello Bluebird Stamps shop.
To qualify to win you must post your card on Instagram and use the #hellobluebirdcolorchallenge1 so that Hello Bluebird can find your submission. Your card must be NEW and must ONLY USE genuine Hello Bluebird products. The Challenge is open to all worldwide with no limits on the number of entries.

Adorable card Nicky, Pastels were definitely a challenge for me. Can you use other brands along with Hello Bluebird? I've made a card for the challenge but I don't have a good sentiment and would want to use a different brand. So happy Hello Bluebird added a challenge, it gives me an awesome reason to buy more of the brand
ReplyDeleteHi Dandi, to increase your chances of staying within the rules and therefore being elligible for winning I would suggest you keep the sentiment from another company very discrete. Don't choose something too big or a quickly recognisable font from another manufacturer. I believe this will be absolutely fine! I look forward to seeing what you create and if pastels were a challenge for you, I think you'll enjoy what has been lined up for May! Thank you!
DeleteSo the first card I will just use a Hello BB sentiment, but the second card which uses MFT alphabet dies, I will probably need to drop. I guess I need to buy more Hello BB, :)

Yes, I believe that will be too much from another company I'm afraid. HB has some great sentiment sets and alpha dies so perhaps you'll treat yourself along with some items from the next new release. Good luck!
