My Favorite Things - June Release Countdown Day 1

It's the final day of the countdown to the My Favorite Things June release which you can purchase tomorrow at 10am EST.   My card today features a card illustrated by Pure Innocence and the stamp set is called Sunshine Kisses.

I used the Slimline Starter Die-namics to create a slimline panel and I used the Slimline Cloud Edges Stencil and Slimline Drifts and Hills Stencil to create the background.   Sand dunes were done with Distress Oxide Ink in Antique Linen and the clouds with Peacock Feathers.   I stamped the sentiment in the lower right hand corner and attached this panel to a white slimline panel which in turn was applied to my prepared slimline card base.

I stamped out my images from Sunshine Kisses on Copic friendly cardstock and used Copic markers in rich and cheerful tones to colour them.    Using the coordinating die-namics the images were die cut, backed with foam tape and applied to the background.

A few points were highlighted with a white gel pen.

A few sparkling clear sequins were the perfect finishing accent!
