My Favorite Things - Miss Tiina Release Day

Hi!   The brand new Miss Tiiina release by My Favorite Things is now available for purchase and I've made this card for some extra inspiration for you!

To create this card I first used a panel from the new Perfect Plaid 6 x 6 Paper Pad and die cut it to size using the A2 Stitched Rectangles 2 Die-namics, giving it a stitched edge.   I glued this to a full size A2 panel.

I used the new Hello Sunshine Die-namics and cut the sun from Orange Zest Prestige Cardstock.  I die cut 4 times and glued each die cut to the next, highlighting the top sun layer with my white gel pen.  This was glued to the corner of the patterned panel.

The words HELLO SUNSHINE from the same die-namics set were die cut 4 times each from white cardstock, they were glued in stacks just like the sun and then aligned using the plaid pattern as my guide and glued to the background panel.

Lastly I stamped the palm tree and a penguin from the Penguins in Paradise stamp set.  I coloured them with the following Copic markers:-

Penguin - T9, T7, T5, T3 

Penguin Belly - R000, R0000

Feet and Beak - YR04, YR09

Palm Tree - G28, YG67, YG17, YG06, YG03, E44, E43, E42

I die-cut these elements, highlighted them with the white gel pen and adhered them with dimensional foam tape!
