My Favorite Things - Color Challenge #170

Hi!   Do you feel like entering the new Color Challenge #170 at MFT Stamps for a chance to win a $50 gift voucher?   Here's my inspiration card with the color palette you'll be working with below it.

A 4 x 5 1/4 inch panel of white cardstock was masked with washi tape and I ink blended a little background colour using Squeezed Lemonade and Spiced Marmalade Distress Oxide Inks.   I splashed the background with more of the orange ink then carefully peeled off the tape.

I stamped the sentiment from Mice Day to Celebrate and then adhered this panel to an A2 panel of Limelight Prestige Cardstock with a piece of white craft foam sandwiched in between.   The panel was glued to my white card base.

I stamped the images I needed from Mice Day to Celebrate and coloured them with Copic markers.  Here are my colours:-

Mouse/greys T0, T2, T3, T5, T6

Cheeks/ear R000, R00, R20, R21

Yellows to Oranges Y21, YR21, Y17, YR14, YR09

Greens YG01, YG03, YG06

The images were die cut using the coordinating die-namics and then applied with foam tape.

A few points were highlighted with a white gel pen and for the finishing touch to this CAS card I used Stickles glitter in gold to dot in some sparkle to the background colour and for the flame on the candle.
