My Favorite Things - December Release Preview

A warm welcome to my blog today where I'm previewing products from the December release by MFT Stamps which you can buy tomorrow at 10am Eastern.   My project features one of the new stamp sets illustrated by Jenoblade.  Here's what I've used:-

Heavy Snowfall Stencil
Blueprints 27
Holiday Plaid 6 x 6 Paper Pad
Polaroid Shaker Frame Die-namics

To create the card i first created an A2 panel of patterned cardstock.  Over this I layered a die cut made using Blueprints 27.  I masked the edges of this die cut, overlayed the stencil and inked with Spun Sugar Distress Oxide Ink.  I kept the stencil in position and then used glitter paste before carefully removing the stencil and setting the panel aside to dry for 30 minutes or so.

I stamped the two images I used from Squish Friends with Memento Ink in Rich Cocoa and I coloured with the following Copic markers:-

Puppy - E42, E31, E41, C5, C3, C1, C00, R000, YG07, YG03
Bunnies - C3, C1, C0, C00, R000
Kitten - E42, E41, E40, C3, C1, C00
Blushes - RV63, RV02, RV10

I highlighted their blushing cheeks then die cut and backed with foam tape.

I die cut the Polaroid Shaker Frames a bunch of times.  3 times from pink cardstock and once from white cardstock.  I glued the frames in stacks, discarding the pink inside cuts but with the white inside cuts I ink blended backgrounds and dotted in some interest with Copic markers and a white gel pen.  I recessed those backgrounds through the opening and adhered them in place on the reverse side.

I stamped the sentiment on one of the frames and then adhered them to the background panel with a combination of glue and foam tape.  This whole panel was then ready to adhere to the patterned background and then to the card base.

Card complete!
