My Favorite Things - October Release Spotlight Day 4

It's the final day of spotlighting the October release from MFT Stamps and today my card features the following products:-

To create my card I first prepared an A2 panel of the Colorful Christmas Text paper and glued it to my card base.  Over this I layered a frame made using the Frames Die-namics and I applied it with foam tape.  I used a frame two sizes smaller from the same set to create the smaller frame which was also applied with foam tape.

Through the opening of the smaller frame I glued a coordinating panel of paper from the Holiday Plaid paper pad and I created a little snowy base with some white cardstock die cut using Stitched Snow Drifts Die-namics.  Before glueing the white portion in place I stamped the sentiment.

I stamped the Santa image from Nicest On The List  and coloured him with the following Copic markers:-

Red - R39, R29, R27

White - C5, C3, C1, C0

Black - T7, T6, T5

Skin - E33, E11, E21, R22, R21

Beard - W5, W3

Bulbs - YG03, YG95, RV63

I highlighted with a white gel pen and die cut with the coordinating die-namics and applied him to the scene using dimensional foam tape.

To complete the card I decide to put a holly sprig in each of the frame corners and for this I used elements from the Mini Holly Wreath Die-namics together with MFT's Prestige Cardstock.   These were also highlighted with a white gel pen before being glued into position as a final flourish.
