Hello and welcome to my blog where we're kicking off MFT's September Release with this Preview Day. You can buy the release tomorrow September 19th at 10am Eastern. Here's what I've used in this first project of 6 featuring items from the new release:-
I grabbed a couple of A2 panels of white cardstock. With one I used Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide Ink to ink blend the sky and I adhered that to the card base. With the second panel I used the Grassy Edges Die-namics to create 3 little hills which I ink blended with Mowed Lawn Distress Oxide Ink and then spritzed with white acrylic paint. I layered them on to the sky background panel with glue.
I die cut the All-Season Tree from more white cardstock and used Distress Oxide Inks to ink blend each little portion and then I glue the tree in my desired shape. Possibilities are endless with this very useful die. I applied the tree to the scene with foam tape and added two little clouds in the sky from In Awe Of You.
I stamped the sheep with black Memento Ink and coloured them in the style of Valais Blacknose Sheep who have to be the most adorable breed on the planet .... look them up if you don't know what I'm talking about, they're sure to please!
I coloured the sheep with the following Copic markers:-
T6, T5, T4, C1, C0, E0000
I highlighted ears and eyes with a white gel pen and die cut using the coordinating die-namics and then applied to the scene with dimensional foam tape.
The simple finish to this pastoral scene was the sentiment which is included in the stamp set and which I stamped on a sentiment strip and applied this with more of the foam tape.
