My Favorite Things - May Card Kit -

Thanks for coming by my blog today where I'm sharing my second of two cards for the MFT Stamps May Card Kit called 'Everything Wonderful'.  The release is now available for purchase!  Here's what I've used for my card today:-

A2 Rectangle Frames Die-namics
A2 Stitched Rectangles Stax (Set 1) Die-namics
Skinny Strips Die-namics
Pretty In Plaid 6 x 6 Paper Pad

I created a panel using the Stax Die-namics and a patterned sheet from the Pretty In Plaid Paper Pad.  I glued this panel to an A2 white panel and to my card base.

Next, I created a frame using the Frames Die-namics, I backed it with dimensional foam tape and applied it to the patterned background.  This was set to one side.

I die cut MFT's Prestige Cardstock using the Framing Foliage Die-namics.  Yesterday's card featured stitching however for today's card I decided to use the negative die-cuts to fill in the flower centres and the decorative dots around the edge.   With this die set the greenery corners have the flower shapes built in so you know exactly where to place at least your initial blooms and that 'base' for the flower placement is solid which means glueing those little dot shapes in place is easy.  Does that make sense?  LOL!

I glued the floral corners to the frame.

Finally, I die cut the word 'happy' in lower case from both Happy Words and Happy Everything which allowed me to layer the white lettering over the green base creating a nice shadow affect.  I applied this word with dimensional foam tape and then chose the word 'everything' from the Happy Everything stamp set, stamping it in Sour Apple Ink to match the greens of the card already used and applying with foam tape.   Another card completed!
