My Favorite Things - April Release Countdown Day 4

 

It's Countdown Day 4 to the April 11th release from MFT Stamps and my card today features the new stamp set 'In My Prayers' by Yuzu Illustration.  Here's what I've used to make this project:-

Springing For Houndstooth 6 x 6 Paper Pad

A2 Stitched Rectangles Stax Set 1 Die-namics

I created an A2 panel from Princess Pink cardstock by MFT.  Over this I glued a patterned panel created from the  new paper pad listed above and die cut using the Stax Die-namics.   I die cut once more using the same die and white cardstock and trimmed that down to for a strip for the 'ground' and I glued two narrow strips over the leading edge to divide nicely between the wallpaper and ground - baseboards if you will!

I stamped the images from the stamp set I'd be using and coloured with the following Copic markers:-

Girl Skin - E11, E21, E00, E000

Girl Hair - YR0000, E31, E42

Girl PJs - C3, C1, C0, C00, RV02, RV04

Kitten - YR0000, E31, E41

Puppy - E31, E41, C3, C1, C0, C00

Teddy - E44, E35, E31, E41

Blushes - R20, R00

Bedding - RV04, RV02, YG11, YG41

Bed - W3, W2, W1, W0, E440

I highlighted with a white gel pen and die cut with the coordinating die-namics and applied to the background using dimensional foam tape.  To finish I popped the card in my Misti and stamped one of the sentiments from the stamp set.
