My Favorite Things - March Release Day!

 

Friends, the brand new March release from MFT Stamps is now available for purchase and I'm happy to be sharing this new baby card to celebrate the release.   Here's what I've used:-

It's A Baby Die-namics

Oh, Baby!

Diagonal Gingham 6 x 6 Paper Pad

I started this project by preparing all my panels of cardstock.  In the back that is Cotton Candy Prestige Cardstock by MFT, then a panel that tones from the new paper pad, next a small white panel which I masked and ink blending with Cotton Candy ink, I splashed with water and then with a dot of white acrylic paint mixed in.  Each panel was glued to the next with a layer of white craft foam in between - this is one hefty card!  Many people will keep their new baby cards as keepsakes so you want to make something of lovely quality I always think.

I die cut the onesie and bib dies from the die-namics set from sturdy quality white cardstock, I backed them with dimensional foam tape and positioned them on the background.  I choose the duck and bunny embellishments from the set and die cut those.  I coloured the beak, eyes and nose and then glued them on each item.

Last but not least, I stamped and applied the sentiment strip with more foam tape.  Sweet, simple and timeless!
