My Favorite Things - March Countdown Day 3

We've reached the halfway mark of the countdown to the March 7th release by MFT Stamps.  I have a sweet new project to share with you and the items I've used are:-

I started by die cutting a white panel of cardstock using Blueprints 27, I masked the edges of this panel then layered the new Diagonal Stripes Stencil over the panel, secured it down and used pale blue embossing paste over the stencil before carefully lifting it up and washing it.  I set this panel aside to dry for an hour or so.

Once dry I was able to continue on.  I backed the panel with white craft foam and layered it over a white A2 panel of cardstock that I glued to my card base and then I used the inner cut of Blueprints 27 and created the white frame.  Within the frame I attached some blue grass created using Sno-Cone cardstock which toned perfectly, I backed the frame with dimensional foam tape and applied it to the embossed background.

I stamped the cute dogs from Hog Dog! using Memento Ink in Rich Cocoa.  I coloured the images with Copic markers, here's what I used:-

Dog top left - E44, E43, E42, E41
Dog top centre - C3, C1, C0, C00
Dog top right and large dog - E33, E53, E41, E40
Dog bottom right - W4, W3, W2, W1, W00
Dog shirt - G00, G000, T3, T2, T0
Blushes - R22, R21, R20, R000

Points were highlighted with a white gel pen then I die cut using the coordinating die-namics and applied them to the background using more dimensional foam tape.

Finally, I stamped the sentiment on a strip and applied with more foam tape.  The embossed background is so pretty and iridescent that I decided no further embellishments were required and the card was done.
