Well a warm welcome to my blog everyone where today I'm sharing an inspiration card for MFT Stamp's latest Color Challenge. This is CC186.
I used the A2 Stitched Rectangles Stax Die-namics (Set 1) to create a kraft panel, then a patterned panel taken from Poppin' Polka Dots 6 x 6 Paper Pad and a smaller panel of white cardstock. I adhered these panels in a stack on an A2 white panel and applied this to my card basae and set it to one side.
I used Distress Oxide Ink in Spun Sugar to create a subtle blended background on the white panel.
On some white cardstock I loosely ink blended Distress Oxides in Spun Sugar, Kitsch Flamingo and Twisted Citron. I used the floral die from In-Focus Florals and die cut three times. I was somewhat careful to lay the die so that the blooms were in the pink zone and greenery in the green zone.
I gathered the blooms into a loose bunch and applied a few dots of glue on the back and adhered them down but still leaving plenty of dimension.
I stamped and heat embossed the sentiment from Bitty Thanks & Gratitude and applied this strip to the card with foam tape.
To complete the project I added a little Nuvo Drops glitter to the tops of the flowers and added a few sequins.
Wishing you all the luck in the world with your challenge entry! Have fun with this pretty colour combination.
