My Favorite Things - March Release Countdown - 4 Days To Go!

Hello and welcome to the second day of the My Favorite Things countdown to their March 16th new release.  Just four more days to go and today I'm sharing a card made using the brand new More Brilliant Butterflies stamp set that comes with coordinating Die-namics of course.

To create this card I first stamped the upper portions of my butterflies using MFT's Poppin' Pink Premium Dye Ink and then the lower portions with Princess Pink .... these are two new colours that have coordinating cardstock.

I then stamped the lace overlay wings using Versamark Ink and heat embossed in gold.  This panel was trimmed a little and I backed it with white craft foam and applied it to an A2 panel of Poppin' Pink Prestige cardstock.

I used the Celebrate Die-namics and die cut the word 'celebrate' several times from white cardstock and once more from Black Licorice Prestige cardstock.  I adhered the white layers together and for the black top layer I ever so slightly offset it as I stuck it down.  This was adhered to the scene.  The 'happy birthday' sentiment is from Bitty Bears, I stamped it with Versamark Ink and heat embossed in white, this was backed with a double layer of foam tape and layered slightly over the bottom of the celebrate word.

To finish this CAS card all that remained was to adhered three gold sequin accents.  The decorative panel was adhered to a sturdy white cardstock base and with that it was complete.

Happy crafting and do come back tomorrow for another release reveal!  Check out the MFT blog for other design team inspiration and comment for a chance to win a $75 gift card to the shop.
