My Favorite Things - Countdown to March Release

Hello!   Today I'm revealing a new card for My Favorite Things featuring stamps and die-namics from the March 16th new release.   This card features High Flying Adventure stamps and coordinating Die-namics together with the Pop-Up Banner Die-namics.

To create this card I first used the Micro Cloud Edges Stencil and Distress Oxide Ink in Spun Sugar to create the soft background cloud panel which was trimmed slightly smaller than A2.   I stamped the sentiment and backed the panel with white craft foam and applied it to a white A2 panel which in turn was adhered to my card base.

I stamped out my High Flying Adventure images and coloured them with Copic markers B41, B91, B93, W4, W3 and W2 for the planes.  Also R00, R20, R21.   Bunnies are E42, E51, E30 and YR000.  Cheeks R00 and R20.   Points were highlighted with a white gel pen before die cutting.

I backed most pieces with foam tape and applied or otherwise glued directly in order to play with a bit of dimension.

I die cut the Pop-Up Banner and used the same Copic colours to colour up the bunting and a gel pen again to add highlights and patterns.   I glued the pieces together and then glued the bunting to the top of my card where I'd allowed space.

A few of the cute puffy clouds were adhered and sequins applied for a touch of sparkle.

Hope you're excited for this release and I wish you some happy crafting time!  Be sure to check out the MFT blog to see the creations of the rest of the Design Team and comment each day for the opportunity to win a $75 gift card to the shop.  Best of luck!
