Peacock Friends & Spring Wreath - Pretty Pink Posh
Hello! On March 4th the latest Pretty Pink Posh release goes live and today I'm sharing a card made using the new Peacock Friends stamp set together with the new Spring Wreath stamp set.
This card began by ink blending a panel with Distress Inks in Wilted Violet and Fossilized Amber. This background was splashed with water and blotted up to distress it a little and it was die cut to emboss the edge and make it look finished.
I placed the panel in my Misti, I positioned the sentiment and stamped with Versamark Ink and heat embossed in gold, replacing it back in the Misti I repeated this process in order to make the sentiment more bold. This panel was then adhered to a 110lb cardstock base and set to one side.
On Bristol Smooth cardstock the image of the Peacock and the Spring Wreath were stamped. They were die cut and watercolour painted in vivid shades. Here's the list of colours:-
Arteza in Light Magenta and Kuretake Zigs in Violet 080, Light Violet 081, Mid Green 046, Yellow 050 and Orange 070.
These painted components were backed with foam tape and applied to the scene and a few flat cup gold sequins by Pretty Pink Posh finished it out!
I appreciate you coming to read on my blog today, I'll be back very soon with a new project.
Nicky x
