Bold Butterflies - Pretty Pink Posh

Hey there!  My card today uses several products from the February 4th new release by Pretty Pink Posh.  Featured here are Bold Butterflies, Spring Frame and the sentiment is from Beautiful Butterflies.



My card started by ink blending a panel using Distress Oxides in Tumbled Glass and Spun Sugar.   I then squished a little Tumbled Glass on to  my craft mat, I added a drop of water and then using a small paintbrush I splattered the panel to distress it just a little.

I die cut the Spring Frame from white cardstock and placed it over the panel to determine where the sentiment from Beautiful Butterflies would sit.  When happy I stamped the sentiment with Versamark Ink and heat embossed in silver.   The panel was applied to a 110lb white cardstock base and the frame was backed with foam tape and applied over that.



The Bold Butterflies die was used four times.  I cut it twice from white cardstock and once each from blue and pink gingham patterned cardstock.  I gently teased the wings to lift and I adhered the patterned butterfly die cut to the white die cut only applying glue down the length of the body.  Once dry I applied a strip of foam tape underneath the body of each butterfly and applied them to the scene.



The final touch was to use Ranger Multi Medium Matte glue to adhere some tiny sparkling clear sequins by Pretty Pink Posh.
