Hi! It's Wednesday and so it must be time for another Wednesday Sketch Challenge which I hope you'll play along with for a chance to win a $50 gift voucher. Here is my inspiration card and the sketch you're going to be working off.
So I didn't have an actual oval shape for this sketch but no matter, you don't have to adhere too strictly to these sketches. I used the Inside and Out Stitched Circle STAX and die cut that section away from a white A2 panel of cardstock. I backed the white panel with foam tape and applied it over an ink blended panel created by blending Spun Sugar and Shaded Lilac Distress Oxide Inks. I also splattered on a little Shaded Lilac having watered it down a tad with a droplet of water. I used the Grassy Fields Die-namics and created a little piece of grass that I also ink blended in purple hues and adhered inside the die cut opening.
I then adhered this decorative panel to a die cut piece of Petite Gingham 6 x 6 Paper Pad cardstock and glued this to a card base.
On Copic friendly cardstock I stamped my image from the new Read Me Like A Book stamp set and coloured the image with Copic markers and highlighted points with a white gel pen. I die cut using the coordinating Die-namics, backed it with foam tape and applied.
To finish up Petite Clouds Die-namics die cuts were applied, plus a few sequins and the sentiment was stamped and applied to a die included in the Blueprints 27 Die-namics set which I trimmed down to fit. Card complete!
