Hello friends! Release day at My Favorite Things is here..... what are you going to add to your shopping cart? Maybe you'll add the adorable Birdie Brown stamp set called Sittin' Pretty as seen in my card today.
To create my card I first stamped and Copic coloured my chosen images from the Sittin' Pretty stamp set, I also die cut the images using the coordinating Die-namics. I prepared a white panel of cardstock using the A2 Stitched Rectangles STAX and adhered the images using dimensional foam tape.
I wanted the look of a white farmhouse and so I used the Skinny Strips Die-namics to create wood siding and die cut several strips which I glued in slightly overlapping layers from the bottom up. I then added the pots of tulips with more foam tape. I stamped only part of one of the sentiments from the stamp set to a strip made using the Stitched Sentiment Strips Die-namics and was applied with foam tape to keep up with the rest of the dimension on this card.
The decorative panel was then adhered directly to another panel using the STAX again in a larger size and I used a sheet from Petite Gingham 6 x 6 Paper Pad which complimented the other colours.
Finally I adhered all of this to my white cardstock card base and highlighted a few points with a white gel pen. Card complete!
Thanks for stopping by, I sincerely hope I've been able to offer you plenty of inspiration this way for your own projects. Happy crafting!
