Sunny Studio Stamps - Country Carnival

Hello and thank you for visiting my blog today where I'm sharing this card for Sunny Studio Stamps featuring their Country Carnival stamp set which I LOVE and of course the coordinating die set for all those intricate little images.  I'm happy to share that they are ON SALE.  The stamp set is $11.99 and the die set is $16.99.  Imagine all the fun scenes you can make with Country Carnival, I shall definitely be reinventing this stamp set in a daytime scene in a couple of months from now.

To create this scene I started with a panel of white cardstock and I ink blended to create the night sky using Distress Oxide Inks in Black Soot, Chipped Sapphire, Tumbled Glass and Blueprint Sketch.

I added a strip of black cardstock along the bottom for the ground and applied the panel my prepared card base.

I framed it out in white cardstock using the Comic Strip Everyday Die but I snipped out the inner 'cross bars' to leave just the nice skinny frame.  I do love a skinny frame!  This was applied popped up on dimensional foam tape.

I stamped all of the images using black ink and coloured with Copic markers:-

Red - R89, R29, R24, R05
Blue - B37, B24, B32
White - C3, C1, C0
Grey - C7, C5, C3
Bears - E43, E42, E41

I used the coordinating die to die cut the images and then starting from the back of the scene with the big circus tent, I began to apply all the different elements using dimensional foam tape in either a single or double layer (the little bears wandering around in the foreground).

For the finishing touches I took black sentiment strips and stamped the sentiments using Versamark Ink and heat embossed in ultra fine white embossing powder.  Lastly, I went to town with using my white gel pen creating stars in the sky and lots of highlights throughout the scene.

I hope you enjoyed my card today for Sunny Studio, I know that I enjoyed making it!

Happy crafting!
