Hi! Thank you for visiting my blog today where I'm helping to celebrate a brand new collection illustrated by Stacey Yacula for Purple Onion Designs. You can buy the entire new collection discounted HERE.

I stamped the background image called Frozen Pond onto Bristol Smooth cardstock. I applied a little watercolour paint here and there to subtly colour it up. I masked the horizon and ink blended then removed the mask. I similarly ink blended a strip of cardstock, I stamped the sentiment from a previous release, I backed this with foam tape and applied.

The background panel was applied to a 110lb white cardstock base and I added Stickles Glitter in Crystal to several points to make for a sparkling icy finish. This was then set aside to dry.

On more Bristol Smooth I stamped Iclyn (Hockey Bunny) and Storm (Hockey Penguin) together with Douglas (the Raccoon) and watercolour painted in the following soft pastel watercolours - Tombow ABTs in 772 and 761. Kuretake Zigs in Deep Green, Light Gray, Oatmeal, Bright Yellow, Green Gray and Haze Blue.
Images were fussy cut, highlighted in certain areas with a white gel pen, backed with foam tape and applied.

Using a Kuretake Zig in Light Gray I made a little shadow detail under each of the critters and used more of the Stickles Glitter in Crystal to give these areas a bit of twinkle too!
I have many more cards coming with the new release and can't wait to share them with you!
Happy crafting!
