There's a new stamp company in town and they have some lovely and unique designs. This is Keeping It Rural by Miss Ink Stamps. I wanted to guest design for them to help get the word out and draw attention and hopefully they'll get off to a strong start.
This card started with ink blending a panel of Bristol Smooth cardstock with Distress Inks in Salty Ocean, Mowed Lawn and Antique Linen. The panel was then die cut with the wonky stitched edge which is from Mama Elephant's Cloud 9 die set.
All images were stamped with Ranger Archival Ink in Potting Soil on more Bristol Smooth. They were watercolour painted using a large assorted combination of Kuretake Zigs and Tombow ABTs. Points were highlighted with a white gel pen. The images were fussy cut and backed with varying amounts of dimensional foam tape to build depth and then applied to the scene. This card has some crrrrazy dimension!!!!
To finish out the card I dotted in some ground texture and interest and stamped the 'punny' sentiment on a strip of cardstock and applied it with a double layer of foam tape to match the dimension of the card's main scene. The decorative panel was applied to a super sturdy white 110lb cardstock base and that was that!
Check out Miss Ink Stamps, I think you'll like what you see! I'll be back in a few days with another project for them.
