Today's card was made just for the love of using this Woodland Wonders stamp set by Avery Elle which has long been a favourite of mine.
This card started with a background that was made with alcohol inks on Yupo paper. Once dry it was die cut to give the stitched edge affect and then adhered to the base with a layer of craft foam sandwiched in between. I used Stitched Clouds to form the green cardstock 'ground' which was applied with foam tape.
On Strathmore Bristol Smooth I stamped the images with Ranger Archival Ink (black). I die cut everything and then watercolour painted the images with my Zigs! A few points were highlighted with a Uniball Signo White pen and everything was adhered into the scene with Scotch foam tape.
If you haven't delved into the world of alcohol inks, I encourage you to do so. As you can see they can really elevate your cards to some new and unexpected level .... something different and a lovely punch of colour.
Nicky
