My Favorite Things - Wednesday Sketch Challenge WSC636

Time for the newest Wednesday Sketch Challenge by MFT Stamps - this is WSC636 and here are the products used to make my inspiration card:-

I used the A2 Stax Die-namics to create a white panel which I glued to a full A2 white panel and then to the card base.  Over this panel I layered a pink panel created using a smaller size from the Stax set and then for the 'tiled' panel I used cardstock from Finishes and Textiles 6 x 6 Paper Pad and a die from the Slimline Die-namics.   This tiled panel was backed with white craft foam and applied.

I then set about die cutting the little elements from Serenity Now and Bubble Bath to basically make a 'slice of bathroom' that feels serene!   Once all the elements were die cut I glued them together and then to the tiled panel.

I finished the card by stamping a sentiment from Time To Unwind on a sentiment strip and applied with dimensional foam tape.

A simple CAS card!

My Favorite Things - Serenity Now Card Kit Release

The Serenity Now card kit from MFT Stamps is now available for purchase and I have one last card to share with you using items from the kit, here's what I've used:-

To create my card I first used the stencil to ink blend the brick wall focal point on a white A2 panel of cardstock.

Using MFT's lovely cardstock selection I die cut all of the little components until I had enough to build a serene massage room scene with a little bit of a garden feel.

I used Copic markers C3, C1, C0 and C00 to shade the sheet, pillow and towels to definite them better and then glued the components together and built my scene and glued it down.

I stamped the sentiment in my Misti and applied a few sparkling clear sequins to finish it out.

Enjoy shopping the release, check out the MFT blog for much more inspiration from the Design Team.

My Favorite Things - Serenity Now Card Kit

I'm back with a new card, my second of 3 for the new Serenity Now card kit release by MFT Stamps which you can buy at 10am Eastern tomorrow the 21st of February!

My card today uses the following items:-

I created a panel with the patterned cardstock, backing it with white craft foam and layering it over an A2 panel of white cardstock which in turn I glued to my card base.

I created a white section to lay over this at the bottom and stamped the sentiment from Time To Unwind and then created two strips to divide that section from the patterned section.  I set this to one side.

As with my card yesterday, the rest of the card's details were all die-cutting using MFT's cardstock, taking care to glue all the pieces together cleanly and shape the scene and then adhere to the 'wallpaper'.

I'll be back tomorrow with one final card for the kit release, so please join me then.

My Favorite Things - Serenity Now Card Kit

We're counting down to a brand new card kit release at MFT stamp.  You can buy the release February 21st at 10am Eastern.  The kit is great fun to work with and is called Serenity Now ... who doesn't need that?!

For this first Countdown Day my inspiration card uses the following products:-

I created a panel of Princess Pink cardstock using the Stax Die-namics and used the stencil and white pigment ink to ink blend a subtle focal point.  The panel was backed with white craft foam and applied to an A2 white panel which in turn was glued to my card base.  I stamped the sentiment in my Misti and then set this to one side.

Creating the rest of the card was basically all die-cutting using MFT's pretty cardstock colours I die cut then assembled all of the pieces and then glued in place creating a serene scene.

I used a white gel pen to add interest to the bath mat and finished by adding water droplet style embellishments.

I'll be back tomorrow with my second countdown card so I hope you'll join me then.
