My Favorite Things - March Release Countdown - 1 Day To Go!

 

Hello!  The new release goes live tomorrow and today I'm sharing a new card created using Lucky Duck an adorable new stamp set you will probably want to treat yourself to!

To create this card I first used the Stitched Collage Frame Die-namics and die cut a panel of white cardstock.   I used Distress Oxide Ink in Peacock Feathers to ink blend each of the 5 cut outs, they were splashed with some water which I immediately blotted up and I then stamped the bubbles from Lucky Duck using Versamark, heat embossing afterwards in white.  These mini panels were recessed back within the frame and adhered to an A2 panel of Summer Splash Prestige cardstock.

I took some Copic friendly cardstock and stamped my Lucky Duck images.   I coloured them with Copic markers, highlighted some areas with a white gel pen and then die cut using the coordinating Die-namics.  Each one was backed with foam tape and applied to the scene.

I had a hard time choosing between the wonderful sentiments included in this stamp set but ultimately settled for 'Soak Up All The Love' which I stamped with Versamark Ink to a strip of Black Licorice Prestige cardstock and heat embossed in white.  This was applied with foam tape.

Couldn't resist a little sparkle and so a few sparkling clear sequins were the final embellishing touch.  The whole panel was applied to a sturdy white cardstock card base and with that it was complete.
